ugh. updating on lj is so unappealing to me these days. i just go on this shit to comment on others' journals. i have NOTHING to post about. umm.. i realized that i absolutely adore the beatles. talk about late bloomer. my mom got me into them. michelle is my favorite song. michelle my belle etc. etc. SO CUTE! and i realized that beyoncé referred to this song when singing about michelle on the last track of Survivor. i feel bad because i like that album because beyoncé is a fuckface because she likes to wear patched jacket-like pieces of shit made from innocent defenseless chinchillas. i can't even believe i bothered to go to my character map to add the accented 'e' on beyonce so it would be grammatically correct.
i've been so anti-fur lately. i was at Burberry the other day and saw a fox fur coat and like tore down the store's walls in anger. if you know me, you'd know i'm no peta-activist. in fact, i hate peta. but how can anyone be so heartless. i have no problem with leather, because we inevitably eat beef and we're just being resourceful. but killing an animal for the sole purpose of its skin? man, people are horrible.
and the new home video at the strokes dotcom made me cry.

i really love this song. i really love this band. omg i love music so much.
i ordered a back issue of Magnet with interpol on the cover and the holidays are making it come like in probably 3 more years. the sky is too packed with planes sending jars of strawberry preserves and petits fours decorated with christmas paraphernalia from the swiss colony catalog (WHICH i always request) to their loved ones. i really like ham, sometimes.
yesterday night i watched my video of all my taped strokes performances. 'whatever happened' on conan gets me so worked up because i miss julian being so incredibly skinny and wonderful. and i'm sorry but it's true.
and i really enjoy simultaneously being sick with a mother of a cold and staying home from school, drinking lipton cup-a-soup, listening to the doors, bauhaus, AND fischerspooner, reading my old diaries, and making lame bead rings for maria and mieke.

holy shit i haven't been online for like THREE DAYS.
saturday: ventured out to the museum of contemporary art in LA. it was really nice, really empty, really huge, really creepy, and really warhol-ed. there were three particular things that i found amazing: Rheinmetall/Victoria 8, Flanders Trees, and a collection of mounted photographs by mitchell syrop called "Lift and Separate" that was like, fucking incredible. and i can't even find a picture of it. some retard gaurd (lolz rhyme) told me to put my camera away, so i couldn't take a shot of it. oh well, i had more fun in the gift shop anyway.
then we went to Little Tokyo which was right across the street. as i was fiddling with my camcam, a girl about my age stopped me and excitedly asked if i was going to the le tigre show at the glasshouse because she saw my pin. she was so cute and had the most adorable hair. and i loved her jacket. good God, i just love jackets. i love little tokyo.
oh and i finally gave in and bought Antics, just for the opendisc thing, but it's bullshit. and how dare they take daniel's rapping off of the new Song Seven!

and about the election, please don't talk to me about it unless you're a really close friend. i'm one of the few who isn't disappointed with the results. and oh shit guess what, i don't hate my country. if you do, good for you and OMFGGG i really don't care. but if you're just dying to rant and give me shit for my political views, i don't want to fucking hear it. if you lessen our friendship just because of this, you're really fucked up. i'm sorry for whatever downsides this election had for you, really i am, but i'm just asking that you respect my own take on this whole thing (and vice versa) and drop the subject. it's over with and there isn't much we can do about it.
